Hey folks,

We spoke to the Rocket Soar President Jorge (who was going to assist us), and consulted with the other Pack leaders.

Rocket Day: T - minus 4 days!

Posted on Sep 6 2017 - 10:39am
Pack 4417 -- It's T-minus four days until ROCKET DAY!!!! This is a fun event and we're really looking forward to it.

Parents, work with your boys to decorate their rocket.  Come up with an exciting theme, make it fun.  Plus it will be easier to identify after launch which one is yours as we launch up 10+ at a time (more than the 3-4 per launch last few years!).  If you have not received your rocket please email or call me ASAP.  You'll need 45 minutes or so to build your rocket if you've never done it, plus some glue drying time.   For those interested, Sibling Rockets - AOL (5th grade)  Sibling rockets are $15, and all others (Tiger-Web) are $12.   We expect each Rocket to launch up to 3x on Sunday.

Location/Time:  NEW location this year - Mills Springs Academy - 13660 New Providence Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30004  -  Please be there on Sunday 9/10 @ 4pm!  If you can help on the setup, feel free to come @3:30pm.  We hope to wrap up by 6pm latest.

Attire:   Please have Scouts wear their Full Class A formal Uniforms

Health Forms:   Please bring your Health Forms to Kate Wentz at the event if you haven't done so already.   http://www.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_AB.pdf and need front/back copies of your insurance care.     AOLs/Web1s need to get theirs in to Kate by Sat morn for their Overnight trip.

Weather:  We do not foresee inclement weather related to Irma, but if conditions change, we will send a no-go Email at 2pm.

Please bring your water bottles and sunblock as it will be hot out there!   In terms of snacks, please feel free to bring your own for your family.

Hello Pack 4417 (both old and new Scout Families),

We hope you enjoyed the Welcome Back event - there was a lot going on and a lot to digest!    Results of this year's Spring/Fall recruiting - we have 14 new Scouts joining us this year, bringing our Pack to 43 Scouts.   Nice job everyone who helped make this possible!

MOE Class B's tomorrow, and Welcome Back event this Friday 8/18 Wills

Posted on Aug 14 2017 - 11:14am

Hello everyone,

We were hoping Scouts/Siblings could wear their Orange Class B's to MOE tomorrow 8/14-  there will 2 District Execs coming around to each of the classrooms tomorrow to share how much fun Scouting is, and it would be great for awareness so kids know who to ask Scouting questions to.
